He is a seasoned legal professional with a comprehensive background in criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and landlord-tenant law. As the prior Owner and Principal Attorney at the Law Office of Juan El-Amin, Juan has brought a wealth of experience and a dedication to providing vigorous representation for the clients of WLG. He is distinguished by meticulous legal research, adept legal writing, and a commitment to building strong client relationships.

Juan’s career began with a foundational role as a District Court Commissioner in Upper Marlboro, where he honed his skills in criminal law and court procedures. This role, spanning a decade, involved making critical decisions on bail, arrest warrants, and case validity. Following this, Juan’s career path led him to the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he initially served as a Grand Jury Unit Felony Screener and Legal Writing and Research Specialist. In his subsequent role as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Juan managed a high-volume docket of criminal cases and developed strategies for effective prosecution.
