Yladrea N. Drummond - New Lead Family Law Attorney

Yladrea N. Drummond tackles challenges head-on. As a Texas native, she approaches daily with a “Go Big or Go Home” mindset. That same attitude brought Yladrea to the DC-Maryland-Virginia area to impact the justice system during the thick of a worldwide pandemic.

Licensed in Maryland, Attorney Drummond joins the Walton Law Group to undertake the challenge of reshaping our family law division as the firm’s Lead Family Law Attorney. In her capacity, Yladrea will guide clients through complex litigation matters involving domestic violence, guardianship, divorce, child custody, and support. Yladrea is highly skilled in alternative dispute resolution and utilizing creative methods to deliver quality outcomes for her clients.

Before joining the Walton Law Group, Attorney Drummond held positions as an accomplished social and environmental justice advocate, political strategist, compliance analyst, and campaign advisor. As the Lead Family Law Attorney, Yladrea will be a reliable resource for the underserved and an advocate committed to alleviating legal burdens in the communities she serves.

Yladrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and a Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Yladrea is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the Maryland Supreme Court. She is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George’s Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
