Born and raised in Memphis, Darryl graduated from South Side High School and went on to earn his B.A. in History, with a Minor in Political Science, from the University of Georgia. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Since then, he has built a respected 31-year career and is admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee, the Western and Eastern Districts of Tennessee, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Outside of his legal work, Darryl enjoys cooking, playing golf, and working out. He is married and the proud father of four children and grandfather to five grandchildren.
